App Redesign
I redesigned the app from the ground up to maximize usability for an information-dense app. Pushed to design a world-class, pixel-perfect application. I personally coded 90% of the redesign with help from dev on the left nav and new features like universal search.
Reporting Feature
Leveraging Figma Code-Connect and the Figma MCP, I created and launched a new reporting feature for the app. After identifying a need for this feature from user feedback and the CS tickets tracker, I initiated this effort and built and launched the feature myself.
Design System Alignment & AI Tooling
I aligned the design system and code base in component design, naming convention, and functionality to ensure seamless developer handoff and optimize for AI tools. With that alignment completed, I leveraged Figma Code-Connect for a 1:1 match between the design system and the code base components/theming.
This work has given Lumanu developers the ability to quickly determine which components to use in the code base, and has resulted in 1:1 fidelity from UI to development, quicker development time, and the ability to more accurately leverage AI IDEs.
Tax Engine
I designed a robust Tax Engine to automate global tax compliance, empowering businesses to confidently navigate complex international tax regulations. This was a unique UX challenge because nothing like this existed in the market, requiring the solution to be driven by research and co-designed with clients.
This new-to-market solution provided the company with a remarkable edge in the industry and the ability to accelerate global growth.
Projects
I designed the Projects Feature to empower finance teams with real-time visibility and control over spending, while giving creative and marketing teams the agility to manage their initiatives effectively. This project featured multiple rounds of deep research interviews with clients to ensure that the feature met the needs of everyone in our diverse client list, including agencies, SMBs, enterprise companies, and DTCs companies.
Vendor Onboarding & Compliance
To support increasingly demanding product requirements for vendor compliance, I drove multiple redesigns of the Vendor Onboarding flow, leveraging Heap funnel analytics and customer support data to improve UX while balancing complex compliance requirements.
The updated flow provided vendors with an straightforward sign-up experience and brands with fully compliant, ready-to-pay vendors.
